♥ Family ♥

Brian Brown: Lavender's father was born to wizarding parents and thus is fairly pureblooded, although his great grandmother on his father's side was a muggle. He was in Gryffindor during his time in Hogwarts.
Meredith Wimple-Brown: Lavender’s mother is a muggle-born. The only person who ever showed signs of magical ability in her family was a favoured aunt of hers, who married into the family.
Siblings: None.
Background: Lavender's parents met each other at a bank where her father was liasing with the muggles, ten years after Meredith had completed her O-levels. They married a couple of years later and had Lavender, their only child, to complete their family.

Being the only child meant that Lavender received a lot of attention when she was younger, particularly from her mother. Her father was usually away from home on business but when he returned he ensured that both of his special women received enough attention to keep them happy. As a result, Lavender came into Hogwarts as a spoilt 11 year old and had to quickly learn to share with others, lest she not be accepted by her peers.

Lavender's relationship with her parents was always fairly positive as long as she was happy, although it became rather distant as the time she spent at school increased. She still cares for both parents and will always be her daddy’s little girl, however, she is growing up fast and being away from her parents has taught her how to take care of herself.
Pets: A rabbit named Rosey (at home), a barn owl named Princess and a white hamster named Harriet.

♥ Personality ♥

Lavender's first impression is of sweetness and kindness. She approaches people well, has learnt her manners well and has a pleasant personality which many are attracted to. However, not everything is sugar and lace with this young lady. She has been spoilt by her parents, who indulged in her whims, and thus is attracted to people who lavish her with praise or give her gifts. Though she does care for other people, she often subtly puts her own wants and needs in front of theirs without realising her selfishness. She is also quite vain. She has only recently learnt to hold her tongue in certain situations but sometimes the words do slip out unintentionally, which may result in Lavender hiding away from the world until the commotion dies down...if there was one in the first place.
